Expression of interest for Empanelment of Designers/Trainers for Art and Crafts in the BRLPS
Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS), popularly known as “JEEViKA” ts an initiative of Govt. of Bihar, towards socio-economic development of rural poor in Bihar. Among other activities, BRLPS is promoting Producer Groups (PGs) and Producer Companies (PCs) across various themes including artisans & weavers. It also organizes Basic Training's, Advance Skill Training's, Design Development Training and Training's of Trainers program for artisans/ weavers of these PGs and PCs.
At present more than 2300 artisans and weavers are linked with more than 60 PGs and 1 PC, 500 artisans of these groups have received Basic Training. BRLPS plans to develop & train 3000 artisans by March 2020. So far, more than 50 different products have been developed and marketed by these artisans and this number is increasing. BRLPS is also in process to set up a “Brand” for its products.
In order to achieve the aforesaid objectives, BRLPS is inviting applications from interested candidates for Emplacement as Trainers/Designers where services would be taken from time to time on requirement basis.
Description of Assignment: Training to artisans linked to different Community Based Organizations in different art forms (Madhubani Painting, Sikki Craft, Dress Design, Stitching, Soft Toy and other art forms) on requirement basis.
