Syndicate Bank - is one of the oldest and major commercial banks of India. At the time of its establishment, the bank was known as Canara Industrial and Banking Syndicate Limited. The bank, along with 13 major commercial banks of India, was nationalised on 19 July 1969, by the Government of India. The Bank is headquartered in the university town of Manipal, India.

Syndicate Bank  - invites online applications from eligible Indian Citizen for appointment to the posts of Specialist Officer like :- Senior Manager(Risk Management), Manager (Risk Management), Manager (Law), Manager (IS Audit), Security Officer. Candidates should apply through On-line mode only. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The total number of Post is 129. The Last date for submission of online application is April 18, 2019.

Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility Conditions for admission to the Examination.

Note :-  The  Age , Qualification and Experience As on 01.02.2019 for the above posts are prescribed as under.

Educational Qualification | Work Experience

 A. Senior Manager ( Risk Management) 
  •  Educational Qualification :- Graduate with Mathematics or Statistics as a subject with full Time MBA (Banking/Finance) or equivalent qualification from a reputed institute.
    OR
    Full time M.Sc. Mathematics or Statistics with min. 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD)
    OR
    CA/ICWA Candidates who have acquired FRM/PRM/CFA/Diploma or certification in Risk Management will be given preference
  • Work Experience :- Minimum three years of post qualification work experience in a PSBs/Private Bank, preferably in Risk Management/ Credit /Treasury.
 B. Manager (Risk Management)  
  • Educational Qualification :- Graduate with Mathematics or Statistics as a subject with full time MBA (Banking/Finance) or equivalent qualification from a reputed institute.
    OR
    Full time M.Sc. Mathematics or Statistics with min. 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD)
    OR
    CA/ICWA : Candidates who have acquired FRM/PRM/CFA/Diploma or certification in Risk Management will be given preference.
  • Work Experience :- Minimum one year of post qualification work experience in a PSBs/ Private Bank, preferably in Risk Management/ Credit/ Treasury.
 C. Manager (Law)
  • Educational Qualification :- A Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB)
  • Work Experience :- Three years of combined experience as practicing advocate and Law Officer in the Legal Department of a Commercial Bank or the Central/State Government or of a Public Sector undertaking after enrollment as advocate with Bar Council.
 D. Manager (IS Audit)
  • Educational Qualification :- Graduate with minimum 60% marks with following certifications:
  1. CISA - Compulsory, and
  2. Additional qualifications, preferably OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) 
  • Work Experience :- Minimum 4 years of experience in Banking, Financial service and Insurance (BFSI) sector, renowned firms/ corporate in IS Audit. IS Audit exposure, Cyber security, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration testing are preferred. Preference will be given to more experienced and qualified candidates. 
 E. Security Officer
  • Work Experience :- An Officer with 05 years commissioned service in the Army/ Navy/ Air Force or a Police Officer not below the rank of ASP/DSP with 05 years of service of Officers of identical rank in Para Military Forces with 05 years service. Territorial Army Officers should have minimum 05 years of embodied service. 

Selection Process :- 

The Selection process may comprise of online Examination or Group Discussion ( If conducted) and / or Personal Interview totally depend on the number of eligible candidates applying for the posts. (Bank reserves all the right for selection process.)
